Arboriculture
Council and commercial pruning, removals, inspections, ecologist-led hollow habitat works and reactive crews.
A privately owned, SEQ-based environmental services contractor delivering arboriculture, horticulture, grounds maintenance, landscape construction and fleet-supported civil works for councils, government, commercial and infrastructure clients — under one operational team.
Rivercity Environmental is a privately owned, family-built environmental services contractor working with councils, government, commercial and infrastructure clients across Brisbane, Gold Coast, Ipswich, Logan, Moreton Bay and the Sunshine Coast.
Founded in 2000 in Brisbane, we started as a small grounds and horticulture team supporting council parks and public spaces. Over the past twenty-six years we have grown deliberately into a fully-integrated SEQ environmental services contractor covering arboriculture, horticulture, grounds maintenance, landscape construction and a capable owned operational fleet.
The values that defined the early years still drive the business today — show up, do the work properly, and look after the people doing it. We are owner-led, operationally focused and deliberately local. Our crews live in the regions they service. Our supervisors come from the tools. Our schedulers know the depots by their first names.
Today we deliver scheduled programs and project works for councils, government departments, commercial property owners, infrastructure clients, schools, body corporates, developers and parks teams — right across South East Queensland.
The way we are structured is what makes the work hold up — same crew on the program, same paperwork, same ownership of the outcome from the first phone call to the final handover.
Privately owned and family-built. Decisions are made by people on the tools, not by a head office in another city.
Arborists, horticulturists, landscape, civil-support and machinery operators — all on our payroll, in our greens.
ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, QBCC and QAA accredited. Documented processes, audit-ready paperwork.
Slacks Creek, Lawnton, Molendinar and Bundamba — crews live in the regions they service, plant is staged close to the work.
Arboriculture, horticulture, landscape construction and fleet services — sequenced and scheduled together so you only deal with one operations team.
Council and commercial pruning, removals, inspections, ecologist-led hollow habitat works and reactive crews.
Planting programs, mulching, weed control, seasonal renewal and presentation works for streetscapes and public realm.
Renewal works, planting installation, turfing, structural soil and streetscape upgrades for council and commercial sites.
A capable, owned operational fleet — water cartage, vacuum excavation, traffic-management ready trucks and machinery.
A simple, repeatable process that works for a single reactive job and for a multi-year scheduled program.
A real person from our SEQ ops team takes the brief — site, scope, constraints, timing, outcomes. No call centres, no triage scripts.
Where it matters, we walk the site with you. Arborist or horticulturist input early, photo records and risk notes captured against your asset.
A clear scope, a fair price and a delivery program in plain language. Itemised against schedule, not pages of fine print.
Crews from the closest depot, supervisor on site, traffic & safety paperwork in advance, and an asset record that follows the work.
Show up, do the work properly, and look after the people doing it. That has been the rule since day one — and it’s why councils, developers and ops teams keep us on the program.
Crews, plant and stock are based close to the work — so we can respond fast and run scheduled programs without long travel times.
